The jobholders will sit within the Risk Information Services Reporting department, which provides risk systems, data and MI services to Credit and other functions and business units.
The role is within the Credit Portfolio Reporting Team, which oversees monthly reporting to the Senior Risk officers and regulatory needs. The team’s reporting need to respond to changes in the credit risk environment and incorporate exposures across the entire Investment Bank business. The role will focus on Trading book products.
Duties:
Jobholders will be required to establish a monthly reporting process for our redenomination risk for internal MI and for submission to the Group’s regulators.
Participate in Basel 3 / CRD IV Credit Risk Initiatives (CVA, AVC, CCP) - analyse credit risk requirements - develop suitable MI reporting
Participate in transfer of regulatory projects into BAU - Engage in operating model discussions and establish suitable reporting / analytical requirements
Support the resolution of issues that impact the accuracy and timely delivery of risk weighted asset and capital numbers submitted to the regulator
Must Have:
Strong ability to efficiently interrogate, manipulate, analyse and validate large volumes of data with the aim of delivering meaningful management information and valuable insights into key credit risk drivers and their impact on the regulatory capital
Experience in any of the following: credit risk modelling, credit risk reporting, credit control function.
Experience with Basel-related deliverables, preferably gained in one or more of the following environments: management information reporting; regulatory reporting; or credit/finance systems production or change management.
Knowledge of credit risk principles and credit risk management and mitigation.
Strong verbal communication ability, enabling the delivery of confident and clear guidance and support to assigned divisions.
