Risk and Compliance provide risk and compliance services across all BNY Mellon businesses. Organizationally, Risk and Compliance includes the following groups: Risk Management, Compliance, Global Corporate Security, Information Risk Management and Global Business Continuity. Risk Management oversees and delivers risk services and ensures new business risks are reviewed and approved. Risk Management is organized through Chief Risk Offices for each core business and critical operation. Risk managers provide shared support to BNY Mellon for operational risk services for Global Corporate Trust, Depositary Receipts, Treasury Services and Global Operations in EMEA. Description

Asset Recovery is responsible for managing underperforming and non-performing credits and assets across a wide range of sectors. The Credit Analyst position is responsible for performing analysis of complex credit transactions and helping to monitor the overall portfolio and make appropriate exposure recommendations. The Credit Analyst evaluates liquidity, cash flow sensitivity and debt repayment capacity. Analysis includes market based tools such as bond and credit derivative spreads to anticipate the financial performance of borrowers. The Credit Analyst will be trained in and responsible for various reporting requirements including Troubled Debt Restructurings, credit reserves, and non-performing status. In addition, the Credit Analyst will assist senior officers in preparing various memos, projections, and budgets.

Qualifications

Minimum of four years of credit analysis or business related experience. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting and/or mathematics is required. A MBA, and completion of a formal credit training program and foreign language skills are preferred. Strong organization, analytical and written and verbal communication skills are a prerequisite. PC literacy including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Internet is required.
