CRM Release Manager recruitment

Opportunity

MG are looking to recruit an experienced CRM Release Manager as part of their new support team for their Salesforce.com CRM platform.

The team will be the front line support, owning the maintenance, support and development of the platform. On a daily basis the team may be working on defect resolution, writing new reports, supporting and training users, answering user queries, monitoring data quality, investigating data requirements, documenting business processes, implementing small changes and enhancements, running tests, and working with vendors on additional developments.

The candidate will have strong experience working as a CRM training and testing manager or similar role in conjunction with Salesforce.com. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the Investment Management industry, in particular Distribution (Sales, Marketing or Client Service)

Key responsibilities

- Develop MG's formal release management procedures for both minor and major changes
- Co-ordinate and manage all ongoing changes to the CRM platform and environment to ensure:
oAll proper project management discipline is upheld
oAll new development or configuration changes are fully system and user tested and signed off as fit for purpose and meeting requirements
oAll users are trained in any new functionality released
oAll users are communicated with and informed of any upcoming changes or strategy in relation to CRM
- Management and development of all training procedures and materials in relation to CRM to support ongoing release of new functionality as well as new joiner training requirements
- Management and development of all communication procedures and materials in relation to CRM releases

What we are looking for

Essential
- Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM201)
- Degree level qualification
- Testing - has a good understanding of testing disciplines, ideally with practical, hands-on experience
- Training - has a good understanding of training methodologies to ensure effective delivery to user groups
- Communication - has a good understanding of various communication mediums to effective deliver key messages and information to the wider/specific targeted user groups
- Project Management - has a good understanding of project management principles and practises
- Flexibility - is comfortable switching between different tasks in a fast paced environment and adapting to new requirements as the team function takes shape
- Database administration - good understanding of the discipline required to maintain a relational database
- Communicating and Influencing - Ability to influence others to act and commit support to your objectives
- Analytical Thinking - Reviews processes and identifies key areas to be addressed
- Impact Analysis - Understands product and process change and impact on the business / CRM platform
- Customer Focus - Works hard to understand customer requirements and takes ownership for ensuring customer expectations are being met
- Planning and Organising - Is structured in approach to work, having the ability to prepare clear and logical step-by-step plans
- Relationship Management - Has the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key people across the business and IT

Desirable
- Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM301)
- Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent
- Knowledge of Asset Management

Technical Experience Required
- MS PowerPoint
- MS Excel

Technical Experience Desirable
- Familiarity with screen capture software and online training development
