Our client is a leading bank looking to expand their commodities sales desk in London. They are seeking a candidate with experience in commodities and existing relationships across corporate/institutional clients and can add immediate value to the team.
Responsibilities for the position:
- Develop a profitable book consisting of commodities products across EMEA to both corporate and institutional clients.
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities for the company in addition to maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Writing of daily reports and providing clients with accurate information flow.
- Marketing the desk to prospective fund clients
- Negotiation of commission and sales to clients.
Skills and Attributes required for the role:
- 3-5 years of commodity sales.
- Existing relationships and clients
- Excellent communication and relationship management with both internal desks and current and prospective clients.
- European Languages are beneficial.
