Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities will include:

PURCHASING

*To manage the creation of all PRO's and POs both in Bangalore and London (London creation includes Software, Print Consumables, Infrastructure - (Servers and Peripherals), Desktop Hardware (Printers and desktop Peripherals only), Headsets, Desk phones and Conference Units (50%)
*To manage all invoice related queries
*To work on any other related purchasing work
*To manage the business process and communication of amendments to standard hardware in relevance to desktop support, suppliers and the global chain
*To be the main point of contact of purchase order queries and amendments to PO's for Desktop Support
*To manage any business level queries in regards to IT purchases
*To manage all related purchasing dashboards
*To manage the relationship with suppliers to maximise business and minimise costs including the monitoring of SLAs
*To manage the manufacturer relationship in order to minimise costs, forecast and keep abreast of standard product changes
*To interpret and review supplier contracts in conjunction with UK Sourcing
*To be responsible for the construction and formation of a quarterly purchasing newsletter and to distribution
*To be able to audit and devise processes in regard to asset management and purchases.
*To be unbiased when evoking these procedures
*To have some internal auditing knowledge
*To ensure that all permanent supervision tasks are completed, reviewed and amended if necessary
*To supervise and oversee the daily performance of the purchasing trainee

DELIVERABLES

*Day to day support.
*Project work as specified by management.

RESPONSIBLE FOR

*To be responsible and accountable for the purchase order lifecycle from raising the PO to receipt process in response to business critical requirements
*Creation of procedural documentation.
*Completion of assigned project work.
*Stock Control Management
*To be responsible for the allocation of costs to those hardware/software items which are procured in bulk

CANDIDATE PROFILE

To be considered you will have the below experience:

*Would suit a high calibre strong organisational person working within a high pressured environment
*1-2 years purchasing experience necessary, IT relevant although not a requirement in a procurement supply chain
*Some knowledge in Contract Law and Product Market Knowledge would be an advantage
*Some IT Technical knowledge would be desired and not essential
*Confident, able to work under pressure with good communication skills at all levels within an investment banking global company
*A willingness to work hard, study and participate in the team
*Flexibility
