One of our established clients is looking for a part-time candidates to join their busy customer services department. The role is temporary on going with no end date in mind. There is a possibility of the roles becoming permanent in the future.
The Operations Contact Centre (OCC) operates 24 hours / 7 days a week.
You will be required to work weekend shifts between the main contact centre hours of 6.00-22:30 part time as well as being part of a standby rota to ensure they have the required support. Overtime will also be available.

The shifts will be mainly for weekends (Saturday/ Sunday) starting at 6 am with 1 or 2 days in a week work requirement. Due to public transport limitation the successful candidate will have to have their own transport.
The client offers extra pay for standby.

Pay: is £8.92 p/h

Location: (St Mellons)

Positions: 1 x Part-time (possible overtime occasionally)

The ideal candidate will be able to provide excellent customer service in the OCC. As a Call Handler you will be taking operational calls from customers and other third parties regarding both clean and waste water issues. Candidates must also be able to work in a busy and challenging environment and be flexible and self-motivated.
Customer service/retail/face to face experience is highly desirable.

Principal Accountabilities include:
· Take operational calls from customers (and other third parties) and accurately input information into SAP system ensuring attention to detail is adhered to.
· Dealing with customers politely, showing empathy and making sure we provide a fast and comprehensive service.
· Use own initiative to decide the priority rating of the customer query in line with the guidelines.
· Support a continuous improvement culture, suggesting and recommending improvements to team leader.
· Meet targets by helping to keep our call abandon rate above the required level.
· Greeting customers with the correct terminology and closing the call correctly.
