Position Description:
Marvell's Kinoma team is looking for a dynamic individual that is an effective communicator and has strong technical skills.
On the communications front, Marvell's Kinoma team is looking for a dynamic sales engineer that can provide compelling product demonstrations and effectively deliver key messaging. The right candidate is articulate, feels equally at ease in front of a technical audience as she/he does with senior executives. The Sales Engineer must be effective in guiding a discussion so that the customer articulates the pain they are currently experiencing with their current products and technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality products and wants to be part of building something truly innovative.
On the technical front, the Sales Engineer will need to be able to grasp customers' product architectures and technical details and be able to map how Marvell's solutions can be a complement. Additionally, the Sales Engineer will serve as a conduit between the Marvell sales team and the Kinoma engineering team. The Sales Engineer will be able to help Sales understand where customer requests fit in terms of the overall product roadmap. The candidate will need to be able to provide demos in a variety of venues and be able to calmly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. The Sales Engineer should be comfortable configuring a broad range of consumer electronic devices including smartphones and tablets.
Communications responsibilities:
• Customer presentations including product demonstrations
• Evangelize Kinoma to application developers and potential hardware partners
• Represent Marvell at industry trade shows
• Capture and convey customer requests to feed into the Kinoma team's product development process
Technical responsibilities:
• Interact with Marvell product and sales teams to answer technical questions and help with customer engagements
• Lead the Kinoma team's participation in Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions
• Maintain demonstration equipment to ensure software is up-to-date
• Serve as the Kinoma technical lead at trade shows to ensure demonstrations equipment works well
• Maintain a broad library of media files and encode new files as necessary

Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills
• Ease with presenting to C-level executives
• Ability to understand a potential customer's business and product strategies and translate them to key selling points for our products and technologies
• Experience giving dynamic product demonstrations
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues on the fly
• Experience building mobile application is a plus
• Ability to configure networking equipment including wireless routers
