Customer Interface Specialist

Northrop Grumman Information Sector is seeking a Customer Interface Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Atlanta, GA. Put your years of experience into a future bridging customer requirements and datacenter hosting capabilities. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Public Health division which focuses on Health IT solutions for the Centers of Disease Control.

We are looking for dynamic, professional, team-oriented, self-motivated individual capable of leading one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations.

Responsibilities:

- Gather customer requirements and help translate those into offered services

- Help position a customer within the appropriate service tier

- Track a project during build out and throughout the time it is hosted by OPB

- Coordinate and schedule work with the functional hosting areas, including storage and backup management, database administration, server and application hosting, monitoring, and others

- Prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for team

- Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment

- Maintains knowledge on current advances in the field of IT

- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree in Science with (5) years experience in IT support; (3) years with Masters; (0) years with PhD

- (3) Years of IT experience in IT Support, and (3) of IT Management

- Ability to communicate effectively with project staff, project management, and customers to solve complex issues

- PMP required

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of and experience with the full IT system lifecycle

- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
