Position Title: Graphic Designer, Piggly Wiggly Carolina Company
Position Location: Charleston, SC
Position Profile – Graphic Artist
Piggly Wiggly Carolina Company is the largest Employee Owned and Operated employer in South Carolina and is currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team. A successful candidate will be a confident, self-motivated and experienced.
Primary Performance Objectives:
· Branding – This role will be responsible for working with the Mr. Pig Brand continuing the tradition of fun and creativity. This will include working with print ads, social media and online campaigns
· Delivery – This role will deliver high quality visual solutions that align with current marketing messages.
· Will develop and implement graphic standards for the Mr. Pig Brand
· Will work closely with the marketing team to understand and ensure brand continuity in all visual communications.

Required Experience and Skills:
· Associates Degree in Graphic Art or Web Design.
· A minimum of 3 years in Graphic Design/Lay out and Publishing.
· Experience with SharePoint is a plus
· Strong experience working with social media site from a marketing and design prospective
· Strong knowledge of principles of graphic and visual design
· Proficiency in Macromedia, In Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of Dreamweaver and Flash a plus.
· Excellent grammatical, spelling and proofreading skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· This position is designed for someone capable of joining our team as a true business partner and thought leader, not simply a Graphic Artist. Therefore, exceptional interpersonal skills with all types of employees and outside customers with outstanding communications skills in all formats are essential.
