Customer Service and Sales Analyst

A growing company has created a new vacancy which will be as much personality driven as it is skills driven. I am looking for a likeable yet authoritative professional to work in a newly created job that combines customer service, sales, analysis and strategy. This is a permanent, full time, office-based job based in Leicestershire (LE67, near Coalville) and paying £30k to £35k depending on experience. The purpose of this diverse job is to establish customer satisfaction-related KPIs, ensure customer care, investigate new areas for business growth, tender opportunities and some budget responsibility.

You will report into the commercial director, providing vital sales and customer service related information that will result in specific client contact, relationship building and information gathering. For example, you will analyse sales figures, identify any clients’ drop off in spend, then speak to the clients directly to find out about their business, why the drop in spend has occurred and try to gain a forecast. Tact, diplomacy and inquisitiveness are traits needed for this hybrid job. Another part of the job is to gather and analyse statistics and then develop customer service- related KPIs for different depots, requiring an eye for detail, a customer-centric mind set and gravitas to have other depots carry out your targets. Also, you will be asked to investigate new areas of potential business growth and it will be up to you to use your resourcefulness, gather and analyse data that you feel is relevant and enable the stakeholders to make informed strategic decisions based on your findings. Other duties include setting up meetings between clients and your line manager, updating the website, monitoring customer satisfaction levels, overseeing tender opportunities and resolving client invoice and credit control queries.

Overall, I want to hear from you if you can combine customer service, sales and analysis. This is a hybrid job so will require a person who has a diverse and accomplished CV. Construction-related backgrounds are advantageous but by no means are they a prerequisite. This is an office-based role but some travel is required. The salary for this job is up to £35k (depending on experience), based in an office in Leicestershire (LE67, near Coalville). Apply now if you are looking for a newly created job where you can blaze your own trail; your personality and strength will decide where this job and company will go.
