Customer Service Assistant

Our client, a leading financial organisation, is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to be based in Stratford upon Avon.

You will provide a competent, efficient and friendly service to all branch customers, through identifying customers’ needs and providing appropriate solutions, referring to qualified staff where relevant, and ensuring policy and procedures are adhered to. You will carry out investment and cashiering duties as required, performing transactions for customers visiting or writing to the branch, and performing the role of balancing cashier on a rota basis. You will identify sales opportunities and customer needs through discussion and, if relevant, sells the appropriate product or service, referring to more experienced/qualified members of staff as appropriate. The position will also require you to take on additional responsibilities and duties as required by branch manager.

You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, with relevant experience in a customer facing role. Experience in the financial sector will be highly desirable as there will be a need to understand products and processes.
