Description

This position is a critical part of the Pershing Advisor Solutions (PAS) Customer Service model, acting as the primary point of contact for our Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) clients.

The associate is expected to become trained on answering calls in 5 main areas (Retirement Accounts, Banking/Funds, Asset Management, Cash Management, and New Accounts). Associate is expected to become an expert in one or two of the five areas and is expected to have knowledge and be able to field calls in all five.

While not required to perform the job, general knowledge of overall business of Pershing is a plus and makes the incumbent more productive and effective. Must have an understanding of own call center group. Helps to have competitor and industry knowledge, but not required. Must have knowledge of Federal Government laws, amendments, updates, distribution rules, and limits in order to answer customer questions effectively. High level of problem solving is required. Must be able to understand what question is being asked and figure out how to provide customer with an answer. Incumbent is expected to follow fairly prescribed guidelines when answering questions. Innovation is not required. Not creating something new.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred. 0-3 years experience.
