Customer Service Manager

We have an exciting new permanent position available for a German Speaking Customer Service Manager position. We are recruiting for an international organisation who have been operating for over 60 years and are a leading manufacturing and distribution of automotive products. They specialise in a wide range of products for the aftercare and service for the automotive industry. This position is dealing with the German market and we are therefor looking for candidates who are business fluent in German English both written Verbal.

The role

The role has become about due to an internal move and will be recruited for immediately for the right candidate. The role will be responsible for 2 Customer Service Advisors who are responsible for the German market.

Duties responsibilities

Key customer contact for all German, Swiss and Austrian customers, as well as Intercompany
Order receipt and collation via fax, email and EDI.
SAP Order entry and liaising with hauliers, shippers and internal departments
Preparation and dispatch of all Export documentation according to HMRC and ADR/IMDG/IATA regulations
Sales office liaison between customer and the German and Export sales team
Follow up customer requests, actioning where appropriate or following up with Sales Managers
Assist the teams in managing allocated accounts activities on a daily basis, supporting internal external customer queries, complaints and investigation
Ensure the departments workloads administration is completed within the allocated time-scales and to agreed procedures and SLA’s
Maintain and improve processes and procedures to ensure that the teams have the necessary systems in place to carry out their workload and ensure that any changes are communicated effectively
Performance manage and develop team members to ensure the highest levels of service are maintained
Set and monitor departmental and individual goals and objective
Liaise with external agencies authorities as necessary
Provide the team members with appropriate training on products, services and procedures

Experience Required

We are looking for a high calibre and highly experience Customer Service Manager with managerial responsibility of at least 2 years.
Must have at least 5 years experience within a customer service role
You must be fluent in both German English.
Must have experience and knowledge of the SAP system
Must be competent in microsoft word, excel
