Java Developer (Oracle) – LONDON – CONTRACT
Java Developer (Oracle) urgently required by a Tier One bank for a contract role in London.
Working on a Market Risk platform, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly polished candidate to work on high quality solutions for a leading organization.
For this role, this person will be expected to utilise programming methodologies and languages to coding standards.
As well as this, the successful candidate will be required to work in unison with the project team to analyse business requirements.
Other responsibilities for this contract role include participating in design reviews and recommendations, understanding Project lifecycle methodology in all steps and document and translate technical requirements into programmed application modules.
For this contract role, all applicants must be highly proficient in Java and Oracle development.
It is essential that candidates have come from an Investment Banking/Financial Services domain
As well as this, strong software and business systems design, analysis and development skills is imperative, as are strong analytical expertise.
The expectation is that this candidate will have experience with agile development practices, such as Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
