About the Job
The Housing Authority of the City of Shawnee
has an opening for a
Customer Service Specialist
to do responsible clerical work performing a wide variety of routine administrative and clerical tasks for the Authority.
The work relates to the Authority's administrative and property management functions. The position is responsible for assisting the administrative and property management staff with processing telephone calls and office visitors as well as
assisting with intake functions and work order requests. Work assignments are received in the form of specific tasks and
direction in day-to-day operations. The position
requires graduation from high school with additional
instruction in office management functions; a minimum of one year of experience in secretarial or office management
position; or any equivalent combination of education,
training, and experience that provides the required
knowledge and abilities.
A valid application may be obtained at the Housing Authority office located at 601 W. Seventh, weekdays between 7:30 a.m. 4 p.m. (closed Veteran's Day). Applications must be received in the Authority's office by Tuesday,
