The Collection Agent will perform a range of collection duties including monitoring the status of aging accounts and obtaining payment on negative balance accounts, while building and maintaining a professional interaction with PayPal personnel and customers at all times by phone. Our team provides exceptional customer support, guidance and program knowledge through high quality, positive interactions with every customer to obtain the best possible result. 1. Contact customers via automated dialer system and email transmission in an efficient and effective manner in an effort to identify payment options on past due accounts to bring account in positive standing 2. Research and resolve inquiries verbally, in writing, and on-line 3. Build and maintain solid relationships with our customers by phone 4. Construct individually tailored solutions for all facets of the customer's repayment management through the use of education and debt repayment plans. Job Requirements 1. One (1)+ years of customer service experience via phone preferred 2. Communication skills and experience (e-mail and phone) 3. Experience in an Internet company, financial institution or transaction processor preferred. 4. Command of Microsoft Office products including ability to navigate through a windows environment. 5. Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies. 6. Strong working knowledge of PC based internet and software applications 7. Proficiency in external systems and software (The Internet, Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel). The candidate needs to be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends. An acceptable background check and credit check are required for all candidates offered employment.
