Customer Support/Sales Support Advisor
Our client, the global market leader in the office furniture industry, are looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service/Sales Support candidate to support their busy London-based sales team.
Based in a fantastic office in Central London, you will be responsible for building and maintaining good relationships with key clients through regular telephony/email contact, and to support the sales team in converting enquiries to sales and completing all administrative tasks surrounding client transactions.
A selection of duties are:
· Assist and contribute efficiently to company sales and margin budgets and targets by negotiating best prices with suppliers
· Build and maintain good relationships with key suppliers
· Assist with the preparation of tender submissions.
· Assist with client quotations and requests for information. Ensure clients receive order confirmations and delivery estimates.
· Work closely with Sales to ensure that large orders and projects are ordered in the most efficient manner, taking logistics and installation plans into account.
· Ensure credit checks are carried out for new customers.
· Cross check all customer orders before passing to procurement team.
· Handle client / internal enquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
· Ensure all the information that is required to successfully complete all installations is available for Project Management / Operations at point of order.
· Attend on site project meetings were necessary
· Update and maintain Client files
· Assist with seminar / launch activities whenever possible.
· Work closely with the Customer Service team to focus on improving processes to provide an outstanding level of sales support and service to all customers.
In order to be considered for this position, it is essential that you have experience in a customer service environment, and have an articulate telephone manner. Attention to detail is key due to the range of responsibilities involved in the role, and the ability to work on your own initiative is vital.
