Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer Level III to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA. applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Cybersecurity Solutions Department in the DTD/DES Cybersecurity and Enterprise Services OU, providing on-site support to the US Navy in security assessments of systems and networks,

compliance audits, vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to validate security posture in accordance with DOD 8500.2 and 8500.1

Automate STIG checks

Excellent Developmental and Debugging Skills

Develop, implement, and support custom GUI interface for SQL database

Planning, developing, debugging, and executing SQL import scripts and automated tests

Providing ad hoc queries and reporting

Creating, optimizing and/or modifying databases tables

Analyzing test results

Optimizing run time for the automation framework

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet

the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,

Business, or related field or equivalent work experience,

typically 5+ years of relevant experience

IA certification (Security + or CISSP)

Ability to obtain and maintain Top Security/SSBI Clearance

Programming/Scripting Skill set

C#

.Net Framework

Scripting (PERL or shell)

Windows Scripting Host (VB Script and/or JavaScript)

SQL Database Support

SQL Querying

Database Management

SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)

Position prefers a candidate with a current Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential

consideration:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with DoD certification and accreditation process

(DIACAP)

Experience with IA audit tools (Retina Scanner, DISA Gold

Disk)

Understanding of DISA STIGS and Vulnerability

Management System (VMS)

Knowledge in FISMA and DOD IA Compliance

Analyze vulnerability results and provide detailed reports

Operating Systems and Applications

- Linux

- Windows Servers (2003 and 2008)

- Windows Clients (W2K, XP, and Vista)

- Various Network Device Types
