DACH Sales Manager – Investment Systems recruitment

This opportunity provides the prospect to work for a well respected and successful fast growing global provider of investment software systems, and due to sales success and growth they are expanding their sales operations in Continental Europe. Hence they’re appointing a DACH Sales Manager to take commercial responsibility for selling their new portfolio management solutions to the German speaking region. They have a good number of strong reference-able financial institutions in the territory, and now want to ”put someone on the ground” to leverage their success to date. This is a “hands on” sales role with the responsibility and autonomy to develop the Germany, Switzerland Austria territory, and responsibilities include:

• Driving business development efforts within your territory to deliver personal and corporate sales targets, and business plan objectives.
• Create, manage, revise and own ‘go to market’ propositions for the company within your territory, and establish most effective marketing channels and communication media to support these efforts including building PR process
• Working closely with consulting and marketing within the company to manage sales situations in order to help ensure sales success.

Appropriate sales professionals will bring:
• A proven track record selling either front, middle or back office financial technology solutions into buy side / investment management institutions. Any experience selling solutions similar to the likes of Odyssey, Advent, SunGard GP3/VPM, DST, Simcorp, Princeton Financial Systems, Multifonds, Smartsream, and Expersoft etc etc would be particularly beneficial.
• The ability to articulate and sell a business benefit type proposition clearly
• Experience of closing consultative deals

• Strong sales process management skills, and entrepreneurial in outlook as you'll play a key role in helping expand the business generally.
• Growing company natured individual, who wants to take on a key role in ensuring this company’s’ continued European success.
