Job Description
A Data Analysis Representative is the first point of contact for clients, supporting the products within the division in a professional manner and ensuring accurate responses are given within the shortest timescales possible.
Duties Responsibilities
This role involves a high volume of telephone and email work supporting our products, and requires regular communication with internal groups in order to resolve client issues. Incoming enquiries cover a wide variety of subjects including explanation of provided data (pricing and reference data) or queries on service content. Issues that are beyond the scope of the Data Analysis team will be escalated to the relevant department. You will be expected to give timely acknowledgements and responses to queries and provide regular updates. You will be expected to maintain the highest level of service whilst being able to cope in a pressurised environment, demonstrating good communication skills as well as the ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines.
You will also be responsible for a specialist area, where you will be required to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the concepts and glossary of terms related to this area. You will be also be required to maintain and develop a good relationship with the relevant SME/Business Lines group related to this area when required, and be aware of specialist areas assigned to each staff member in case of query escalation.
You will also be required to attend training classes when necessary, and idetnfiy areas where training is required, raising this with your line manager.

Essential:
- Strong customer service skills (good telephone manner, writing skills)
- PC literacy, in particular Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Methodical and analytical approach
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
- General understanding of financial markets and customer requirements
Preferred:
- Background knowledge of the products
- Knowledge of European languages
- Educated to degree level
