Responsibilities

- Analyze data from Excel, CSV, and Oracle database sources

- Develop Excel macros and/or Perl/Python scripts to automate data analysis

- Assemble reports into Excel and HTML formats

Education/Experience

• Computer Science major

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Strong communications skills

• Excellent documentation skills

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge in the following areas:

UNIX / Linux operating system familiarity

SQL / Databases

Microsoft Excel / Pivot Tables

Scripting language skills (e.g. Perl, Python)

HTML, DHTML, CSS, Javascript – general web development technologies.

Experience with the following a plus:

• Financial market familiarity experience, especially foreign exchange.
