DATA ANALYST (2 MONTHS CONTRACT) recruitment
The Role
Do you want to be involved in the development of an exciting product delivered through the leading source for financial information in the world? We are looking for enthusiastic, self starting individuals with excellent communication skills, strong customer focus, and effective research and analysis skills to work on Bloomberg's Earnings Estimates product. In this role you will have the opportunity to communicate with Brokers and Analysts contributing Earnings Estimates to Bloomberg as we seek to expand our global Estimates coverage. Working under tight deadlines and during earnings season, you will be required to call brokers and input their estimates onto the Bloomberg. You will also have the opportunity to develop relationships with brokers as we look to acquire more estimates data.
During off season, you will be tasked with different opportunities to work on projects within the world of equities information. You will gain insights to the processes and technologies of how equity information is managed in Bloomberg, the leader in financial news.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting/Finance preferred or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years of work experience within the financial sector
- Ability to interact with clients within the financial industry
- Familiarity with Asia financial markets is an asset
- Commitment to enhancing and developing products
- Effective research and analysis skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills in English is a must
- Ability to read and communicate in Mandarin is preferred
