Position Description:

Our clients are based in over 40 countries - more than one third of them are domiciled outside the US - and in total they have entrusted us to manage in excess of US$650 billion of their assets. On their behalf we manage portfolios focusing on equity, fixed income, currencies, commodities, real assets and active asset allocation, including hedge fund portfolios.
As part of continued international expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit a Lawyer to join the Legal team in London. Reporting to the Head of Legal Services in London, this individual will be primarily responsible for supporting the Wellington Management Portfolios (WMP) fund range,
domiciled in Dublin and Luxembourg, on matters regarding investor issues, offering documents, UCITS and other regulatory and governance matters, as well as providing support to the boards.
The successful candidate will be a Lawyer with a strong academic background, and qualified as a Solicitor in the UK (or holding an equivalent
qualification from another relevant jurisdiction). He/she is likely to have at
least 10 years of experience practicing law. Demonstrable experience of investment management and, more specifically, European investment funds,
law is essential. Ideally this will include material in-house experience.
