Data Analyst – Asset Management recruitment

In order to help achieve this, the Scottish Futures Trust (SFT) is leading and implementing key programmes of improvement and disposals across the public estate as part of a wider strategic government initiative to reform and improve public sector services. The focus will be on improving asset management practice, the reduction of costs and carbon footprint and the release of property savings.

Information management has a central role to play here and you will be responsible for the development, management and output of a central property information system that allows the efficient dissemination of property asset management information and knowledge and the development of a centre of expertise for the entire country’s public property portfolio.

More specifically, this will involve you in leading the deployment of an ePIMS (electronic property information system) lite system across Scotland’s public property estate, developing relationships with all public bodies in Scotland and encouraging take-up of this major central resource.   This requires appropriate benchmarking, analysis and reporting of projects, and the dissemination of best practice.

As well as relevant qualifications/experience, ideally gained within this sector, you must also have the necessary IT skills, proven experience of data preparation and analysis and knowledge and understanding of property asset performance management.

You must be a good communicator and negotiator, capable of working at senior level and with the drive and enthusiasm to take this key project forward successfully.
