- Monitor data transmission and proper operation of sensors on meteorological (met) towers used for preliminary wind energy studies around the world.
- Validate met tower data for, and prepare periodic summary reports for use by clients and other groups in the company.
- Fulfill client data requests as needed
- Provide timely communications to clients and team members regarding problems with equipment and for routine reporting
- Interact professionally with clients through email, phone and in person
- Share and continuously develop knowledge and best practices
- Help with other tasks as assigned

- Able to work independently and in teams with diverse people – both clients and co-workers, domestically and internationally
- Ability to multi-task and be accountable for assigned tasks and projects

- Ability to manage and provide accurate time estimates.
- Proficient in MS Office programs and able to learn new software
- Coding experience preferred (e.g. C++, Java, Matlab, R)
- SQL query-writing experience and knowledge of RDBMS database design preferred
- BA/BS required in computer science, math, statistics, atmospheric science or related field
- Data analysis experience and comfort with math quantitative analysis required
- Demonstrated ability to work with large quantities of data
- Normal office environment with moderate noise levels, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing and reaching
- Ability to perform consistent work on PC
- Infrequent travel (typically less than 5% of work time) to meetings and field sites which includes climbing stairs to ascend wind towers, looking up to view towers, traveling by car up to six hours and walking on uneven terrain.
