Job Summary: Senior Data Analyst.

  • Collect data on workforce capabilities and make recommendations for change
  • Analyze data to model workforce modeling
  • Develop project plans and schedules for requirements for efficient workflow
  • Identify, analyze and communicate with important stakeholders
  • Develop advanced strategies for eliciting, documenting and analyzing requirements
  • Explore advanced data definition, modeling, traceability, quality management and other techniques
  • Understand techniques for dealing with requirements changes and their impact on testing and product quality
  • Formulate and apply mathematical modeling methods to develop and interpret information that assists clients with policy formulation and other managerial functions
  • Use analytical techniques to support consultants to assist clients to make better decisions and solve problems
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree coupled with extensive coursework in mathematics and other quantitative subjects usually is the minimum education requirement
  • Current technological advances, software tools, and improvements in analytical methods is vital for maintaining their problem-solving skills
  • Since research is a multi-disciplinary field, a background in, economics, statistics, engineering, accounting, and/or management preferred
  • Must bee to think logically, work well with people, and write and speak well
  • Able to focus on detail because much time is spent on data analysis
  • Should also have strong computer and quantitative skills and be able to perform complex research
  • Understand how to use advanced research software and statistical packages
  • Programming skills very helpful
  • Possess strong analytical skills and a strong statistical background
  • Industrial experience
  • Data and Statistics Mining and Management Skills (any type of data - financial, utilities, HR, etc., includes cleaning up data pre-analysis
  • Ability to extrapolate data patterns, understand trends and build models
  • Ability to develop/construct appropriate surveys that will help gather data needed
  • Advanced Excel Skills- v-look-ups, formulas, charts and graphs,dashboard development and VBA know-how a plus
  • U.S. Citizen or have legal right to work in the USA without sponsorship
  • Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening and background check
