Data Analyst (SQL and Excel / VBA)
London based Financial Services Software House seek a Data Analyst (VBA/SQL). You will have a high level of competency in SQL, VBA and advanced MS Excel. With a strong academic record, including a relevant degree (Finance/computer science/technology). Proven analytical skills; ability to create reports and model data - the ability to produce valuable commentary and insight will be crucial. You will have a keen interest in the financial industry. With excellent communication/presentation skills. You will be responsible for the Design, specification and production of regular internal and external reports (SQL/VBA and Excel). Adaption of reporting structures in response to changes in trading protocols, client requests and new product development. Timely and efficient response to requests from management for ad hoc analysis. Effective interaction with the database team, internal stakeholders and counterparts in the US and Asia.
