Description:
Direct and control the definition, implementation and adherence to standardised financial management practices by which to manage the quantum of change across Finance for this prestigious London City based Retail and Investment Banking client; Accountancy and Finance position.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as a senior source of professional expertise and input into the development of Finance Data Structures and Models.
- Provide insightful information, guidance and advice to influence business decisions.
- Develop a network of external advisers and practitioners and advise Group of the implications of benchmark practice on new policies and practice.
- Build and maintain a cross functional internal network to optimise business results.
- Initiate and deliver agreed change programmes to achieve continuous improvement.
- Review, evaluate and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide SME guidance to Finance relevant change projects regarding proposed changes to the architecture, evaluating these against the Finance vision and strategy.
- Define ownership accountabilities and data structures for every element and data item relevant to the Finance function, seeking opportunities to create efficiencies- savings by leveraging designs to apply across the group.
- Actively facilitate the development of data management capabilities of Finance transformation, including organisation, standards, processe
- May be required to travel from time to time to other locations e.g.South East,Yorkshire, Midlands.
- SixSigma and-or Prince II ideal, possibly from ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA background.
Data Architect required in Retail and Investment Banking client in London City where ideal candidate will come from Financial Services background
- Base salary from £45,000 to £67,000 for the right candidate
