Data Architect – Financial recruitment
Synopsis
Responsible for production, handover and maintenance of data models and message schema in line with enterprise models and corporate standards. The Data Architect is responsible for governing definition of message schema on one or several projects.
Required criteria
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff
Ability to assert authority in a governance role
Previous contribution to development of a canonical data model
Data architecture experience in a messaging- or service-oriented environment
Experience with UML tools, such as Rational or Enterprise Architect
Good xml schema design skills
Experience using xml tools such as xmlspy
An understanding of xml technology, including xslt, xpath, etc
A financial services background, preferably insurance
