Data Assistant Job in Cambridge N3C 3X4, Ontario Canada
A leading edge agricultural marketing services company in Cambridge is searching for a Data Assistant with the following attributes and skill set:
Reporting to the Division Manager, the Data Assistant’s mandate is to effectively manage data file loading, QC/QA checks for data integrity and assignment of products and accounts on a day-to-day basis. This involves interacting with a diverse and dynamic team across multiple tasks, including direct daily interaction with customers.

· Must demonstrate intermediate skills with conventional office administrative software packages including MS Word, web browsers and e-mail software.
· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel. (will be tested)
· Intermediate skills in MS PowerPoint (will be tested)
· Excellent typing skills.
· The ideal candidate is outgoing and confident, has superior interpersonal and is not intimidated by new challenges or unusual projects.
· The candidate requires effective listening and analytical skills as well as the ability to summarize information and offer solutions.
· S/he is able to take a comprehensive view of a project and break it down into manageable tasks by making clear assessments, writing concise reports, and offering creative solutions.
· Bilingual (French English) is an asset but not requirement
The Data Assistant will have the day-to-day responsibility for managing data and relationships with clients:
· Validation of transactional data from clients.
· Working with Microsoft Excel daily when dealing with data management, data cleansing, data extraction and more.
· Solving requests from clients with regard to website utilization.
· Follow-up on submission timelines for accurate and timely processing of data.
· Developing and managing account relationships
· Transforming MS Excel into MS PowerPoint presentations
· Working with the management group, the Data Assistant will contribute to discussions on solutions to improve the process of workflow in the operations of account management
· Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of each account’s business, products, and processes.
· Hold confidential all product and program proprietary knowledge.
· Special Projects as requested.
