We are looking for an experienced Data Management Consultant to join the London team supporting existing clients and new deliveries in the EMEA region. The position is part of the EMEA Global Professional Services team. The position senior consultant position will be responsible for a range of critical client deliver initiatives as pertains to the Eagle Performance Management solution.
Range of Activities
- Engage as agreed in the end of a sales cycle to ratify client implementation proposals for Data Management and Reporting Solutions and take ownership of the client relationship alongside the assigned Eagle Lead (Project Manager)
- To analyse and plan with the assigned Eagle Lead to produce a client Statement of Work (SOW) for an engagement.
- To engage all levels of the client, Eagle resource pool and any third party resources to successfully build the necessary relationships to maximise project delivery effectiveness.
- To follow Eagle project delivery and implementation process to execute successfully all life cycles of any given project delivery.
- To interact with the Eagle Lead to ensure all project artefacts are maintained and to a high level of quality, e.g. scope documents and design specifications.
- Maintains effective communication to ensure Eagle projects are appropriately managed.
- To develop expert skill set as mutually agreed with EMEA management in various areas of the Eagle product set.
- To develop product skill set so that one can understand, contribute and play a hands on implementation role.
- To ensure development of Eagle skill set to Subject matter expert level.
- To contribute to the Eagle product development through feedback and communication with the Product Management team.
- To work with the Global Support team in order to manage client product issues and solution faults.
- To support existing clients with short terms trouble shooting or small work items engagements.
- To utilise knowledge of the performance management function to help design appropriate implantation solution for client engagements.
- To maintains self-learning efforts to stay abreast of the financial services industry that Eagle services.
- Seeks and identifies business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Travel to client sites as required for short to medium term on site coordination.
Qualifications
Personal Specification
- Ability to interpret and define complex business problems into technical solutions in the Data Management area.
- Demonstrates strong analysis and design skills.
- Hands on system configuration and implementation background.
- Strong technical background to be able to liaise with developers and other project resources.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering moderate to large-scale or multiple small high quality Data Management solutions.
- Effectively communicates risks, issues, and status of resolution.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully contributing to strong client relationships and project deliveries.
- Plays a role in motivating colleagues and creates team cohesion.
- Communicates effectively including writing proposals, project plans, specifications, status reports, etc.
- Knows how to set expectations, diffuse crises and maintain productive working relationships with clients.
- Manages their role and responsibilities with professionalism.
- Goes above and beyond, takes the initiative to assist others without being asked.
- Takes responsibility to resolve issues independently.
Qualifications Experience
· Educated to degree standard or above.
· Financial service experience.
· Data Management solution delivery experience
