Introduction: Montash Associates have been engaged by a world leading Tier One Investment Bank, to assist in the acquisition of a talented Data Modeller to join a centralised team. This team works on extensive, large scale projects across multiple areas of the organisation.
The Organisation: A Tier One Investment Bank with an exceptional reputation.
The Team: A centralised team evenly distributed between London and New York. This is an exciting team, recently formed to work on all aspects of an enterprise wide solution for front to back execution for pre and post trade businesses. This team works within all business areas such as Derivatives, Risk, Equity, FX, Bonds, Swaps and Commodities.
The Project: This project has received an unprecedented amount of significant sponsorship from within the organisation globally and the team are looking to scale up in size. This team works on various projects such as Trade Capture, Risk Consolidation and a Finance subledger system. This team takes high level data modelling specifications and turns them into reality. This team has ambitious plans for the next few years.
The Role: This team are looking for a senior Data Modeller with experience working in a business facing environment. This individual will integrate business and functional specific requirements within an enterprise wide data model and develop the central data system. This is a critical role for designing data models for strategic applications and the enterprise integration of data. As a senior member of the team you will be expected to be the ‘go to’ individual within the team and take ownership of projects.
The Skills:
- Expert experience within data modelling / data architecting
- Knowledge of Derivatives, Risk, Equity, FX, Bonds, Swaps or Commodities
- Strong business analyst and requirement gathering skills
- Strong experience in performing data modelling studies and recognising
- Functional knowledge in Trade Capture, Valuation, Risk, PnL, Brokerage or Securities
- Leadership in model solutions across heterogeneous systems
- Excellent academic background
