The Client
A opportunity has arisen for a Data Quality Profiler to join a well-known, leading insurance and finiancial services company, based in their prestigious offices inIpswich.
The successful individual will join a well established team who imbed data quality controls and reporting across the company, focusing on reconciliation, profiling and issue management.
Key Responsibilities
To provide support to the Data Quality Analyst to facilitate Data Quality Profiling, by carrying out the following tasks:
- Profiling source system and actuarial data from across the Insurance and Wealth Management operating companies.
- Analysing data attributes and writing business rules to validate them
- Producing monthly profiling reports which feed into the overall Data Quality dashboard
- Implementing new data profiling processes and techniques
- Raising issues discovered during profiling
- Seeking and implementing requirements from stakeholders, primarily capital modelling and actuarial teams
- Suspense reporting
Key Skills
- Previous data profiling experience, particularly of implementing profiling processes
- Strong excel skills
- Experience of running SQL queries
- Sound knowledge of data quality practises
- Ability to work independently
- Previous experience with Trillium software is highly desirable
