Data Transport Engineer – 12 month Contract recruitment
A well reputed telecommunications organization is looking for a Network Engineer on their technology support services team for a key client’s project in Singapore.
Working as part of a small and focused team that supports a migration project, this is a key role directly maintaining the operations and integrity of the network infrastructure including all core switching and routing, WAN connectivity, 3rd party connectivity and all firewall and proxy services. This role will also involve extensive Data Center work involving cabling, racking systems and troubleshooting.
The primary technology areas covered by the Data Transport Engineer are:
- All LAN, MAN and WAN devices
- Cisco Routing and Switching
- Juniper Routing and Switching
- QOS for WAN and LAN
- Voice over IP
- Multicast in the WAN and LAN
- Eigrp and BGP Routing Protocols
- WIFI
Candidates with excellent analytical skills and stakeholder engagement skills will be given preference.
