Job Description
Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support application. Work to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high resilience and performance tuning. To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime. Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL. Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades. Responsible for implementation and release of database changes according to agreed timescales and costs.
Team work oriented, strong customer service skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to develop educated opinions on applications and applications environment to develop recommendations based on system structure and customer needs.
Individual must possess the ability to work under short deadlines and under high pressure environment in emergency situations, and the ability to delegate and utilize resources within the organization.

Job Requirements
In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience and Oracle.
*Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2000 2005 and 2008 on large systems
*Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects
*Experience Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
*Experience of Transactional SQL procedures.
*Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security
