Job Description:

Database Architect position for high traffic web site!

If you are a Database Architect with DBA and SQL Server 2008 experience, please read on!

What you need for this position:

- 3+ years experience managing SQL Server 2008 (2005 ok too) clusters, including table creation and management, relationships, and indexes.
- Knowledge of NoSQL systems such as MongoDB is a plus, and/or Solr/Lucene for indexing.
- Working experience in a 24/7 high traffic web site environment.

What you'll be doing:

- Managing several SQL Server 2008 R2 database clusters, totaling 3TB in size.
- Ensuring proper indexing is built and managed for high performance.
- Working with our software development team when creating new tables for projects.
