Database Designer, up to £60k
Database Designer urgently required by a global leading bank based in central London. The role is a vital hire, offering the opportunity to work within a versatile environment. The Database Designer will take responsibility for the databases design and performance analysis, ensuring it is fulfilling the businesses needs effectively and meeting regulatory standards.
The Database Designer will ideally come from a development or DBA background with extensive experience working hands on with SQL 2008 R2. The roles main responsibilities are to ensure the designing of the SQL databases and ensuring the database is performing the required functions. To investigate the performance of the database the database designer will analyse the back end ensuring the information which is being put into reports and analysed is required by the business.
Therefore to be applicable for this role the database designer will have to have experience in the following areas;
•SQL Database design
•Experience using SQL server versions 2005-2008R2
•Business Intelligence Integration Services (SSIS)
•Experience of performance tuning TSQL and SQL installations
