Projects are related to the creation of the Oracle DB and supporting interfaces that enables our client to both pull data and then structure it into their database for their data analysis.
The PM will be assigned several in-flight projects that require coordination and leading the various groups such as DB, Infrastructure/ AIX, QA and UAT. They should be technical enough to work with these groups and help time box to establish and maintain an accurate schedule. MUST be strong individual to drive the teams to their timelines
Will work extensively with offshore teams, so experience here is preferred and schedule flexibility for calls with offshore teams will be required.
Projects will include:
o Creating a parallel DB environment to the production environment to allow for the creation of past data into the database ( they are creating the capabilities to capture the go-forward data, but also need to build the databases containing the historical data.
o Upgrading the DB from 9i to 10g previous experience here would be beneficial, but not required
o Managing team creating the go forward processes, interfaces and Oracle warehousing system to capture, store and manipulate the data and then transfer it to the datawarehouses for processing
PMs must have:
o strong MS Project skills
o large DB project skills, preferably with Oracle DB
o Ap dev PM experience
o Off-shore experience preferred
