DCM FIG (Germany and Austria coverage) recruitment

Responsibilities:
This role entails the coverage of FIG issuers in Germany Austria with reference to DCM products; in particular senior, subordinated debt and covered bonds.
In co-ordination with the head of the team the person will support the business origination and execution effort:
- You will be given the opportunity to work alongside multiple teams within UBS including Syndicate, Capital Solutions, Liability Management and Sales Trading
- You will support the head of the team in all origination activities
- You will be taking direct ownership for producing presentation materials and preparing regular market updates for clients
- You will coordinate with the syndicate desk in relation to the pricing and structuring of public transactions
- Depending on your market and product knowledge, you may be given primary coverage responsibility for some clients
- You will need to keep colleagues informed of developments and be able to work collaboratively
- Ultimately, you will be expected to manage existing / on-going projects from pitching, structuring, execution and closing
Requirements:
- University educated with a minimum of an undergraduate degree
- An Associate Director / Director with preference towards DCM prior experience
- Experience in coverage of FIG clients is preferable
- Good knowledge of DCM products
- Fluent in German
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to work independently
- As a member of a small team a flexible approach will be required as will the ability to prioritise and manage a rapidly changing workload
- FSA certified (or able to acquire the appropriate authorisation quickly upon joining the team)
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
