Job Description: The DDC Technician is responsible for programming, start-up, graphics, troubleshooting, training, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of DDC building automation systems in a commercial environment.
Job Requirements:
· Prior experience in Building Automation which includes programming.
· Advanced computer skills.
· Network and IT knowledge.
· Skilled in programming, job start-up, checkout and troubleshooting.
· Possesses a thorough understanding of control theory and control concepts.
· Ability to understand blue prints, electrical schematics and circuitry.
· Working knowledge of all types of end devices such as actuators, air/water flow stations, CO2, humidity, temperature and other process transmitters.
· Experience with industry standards protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
· Experience in programming or operating any of the Schneider Electric products such as Andover Continuum, CSI I/Net and Vista product lines is a plus.
· Knowledge and understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
· Flexible to work overtime/weekends when needed to meet customer’s deadlines or requirements.
· Ability to work independently and with other technicians.
· Access control or CCTV experience is a plus.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Current US Citizen.
· Valid driver’s license
· Must be able to pass drug test.
