A brilliant opportunity has risen to join one of Australia's leading insurance companies. Due to exciting growth within the business, they are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused individual to join their Debt Recoveries Team. Working in a great Essendon location, your role is to provide excellent customer service and to manage the recovery of funds owed to the business from third parties and other insurance companies.

Your role will involve calling out to other insurance agencies and also to individuals who have been found at fault and negotiating the payment of outstanding debts, and also liaising with internal departments to determine and ensure all cases are managed correctly. You will have your own high-volume portfolio to manage and work through on a daily and weekly basis.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
• Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal,
• Demonstrated ability in negotiation and overcoming objections,
• The ability to manage multiple tasks to a high standard, and
• Past experience in customer service, preferably in a contact centre environment.

Experience in both collections and insurance is very highly desired.

You will be provided with ongoing training and development, a flexible rotating roster that provides the option for 1 RDO a month, competitive base salary, bonus structure and 13% superannuation.
