Decision Support Manager
About the Job
Working as a finance business partner in a senior role for the performance and reporting team you will be required to establish and develop effective working relationships across the insurance business. You will be supporting the head of finance in meeting financial and strategic requirements for the relevant units by providing business results with the view to providing actionable advice and identifying business opportunities. In addition you will be asked to review business cases for new initiatives and manage a small team of 2.
This is a business partnering role therefore requires an individual with stakeholder management skills of the highest order. Previous experience in an analytical role in the financial services sector is a must along with a proven track record in driving commercial change through financial decision support. Insurance knowledge (either life insurance or general insurance) is not just essential but key. You must be a qualified accountant (CA,CPA,CA,CIMA or equivalent). Experience managing a small team is desirable.
