We are currently recruiting on an exclusive basis for a major Financial Services business based in Edinburgh who are seeking a talented qualified Management Accountant on a contract basis. This is an exciting job opportunity which exists to join the HR Finance team, which provides financial insight and decision support expertise to HR in the management of its overhead budget.
You will be responsible for delivery of key programme reports and Forecast / Budget reports and the role holder will be required to engage with Senior Programme, Business and Finance Stakeholders. Key responsibilities include detailed cost tracking and modelling with proactive identification and management of risks and opportunities; ensuring that the financial performance of the programme is well understood by key stakeholders within and outside the programme; and ensuring that requirements such as budgeting and forecasting, managing month end reporting, and compliance are all adhered to in a prompt and timely manner.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong Excel skills and experience in developing and maintaining programme cost and benefit models. You will have good analytical skills, with the ability to provide insightful interpretation of financial performance and scenario modelling with experience of working to tight deadlines within Financial Services.
