Delegated Authorities – Assistant Executive recruitment

Our client is looking for Assistant Executives within their Delegated Authorities division. These will be market facing roles that provide support to all stakeholders (brokers, underwriters and managing agents) in the management of the delegated authority business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Review all paperwork supporting new coverholder applications and prepare recommended decisions based upon the information

• Provide training and support to coverholders, brokers and syndicates in the use of the various delegated authority systems

• Provide support to the market on all delegated authority queries raised through the delegated authorities team help desk

• Support the Account’s Executives in on-site reviews of managing agents

• Liaise with other teams on delegated authority matters


Key criteria includes:

• Working knowledge of the processes and management of delegated authority business

• Knowledge of  syndicates, managing agents and/or coverholders within the London insurance market

• Ability to communicate equally confidently and clearly with brokers, managing agents and coverholders,

• Strong attention to compliance and due diligence processes

• Key attributes needed include flexibility, collaboration, team working, commerciality and information management
