Delta One GUI Developer recruitment
Candidate will work for a challenging, yet exciting front-office area and be part of the Global Delta 1 Trading Technology team. The job entails both working on Greenfield rebuild of parts of the sales and trading applications and on enhancements to the existing strategic infrastructure. The candidate will be situated in London, working as an integral part of the Global Team. She/he will be participating in major GUI development work, architectural and best practices decisions.
Global Delta 1 Trading technology team is distributed across all regions and is supporting respective businesses across New York, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Teamwork and ability to communicate and work with different cultures will be not only an important success factor but also an excellent development opportunity.
Key responsibilities:
- Be part of the global GUI team developing the next generation of Sales and Trading system for Delta 1 business
- Work closely with team members and business from different regions to develop regional and global features.
- Demonstrate leadership and maturity to drive the development of business critical trading applications.
- Involve in architectural/technical decisions, design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, performance testing
- Develop common reusable components where sales and trading applications can both leverage.
- Help support/debug production issues when problem arises.
Skills
- Exposure to financial industry or working in the Order Management and Electronic Trading space.
- Experience in building high-performance, scalable GUI applications that process live market data and large volumes of orders where TTM is critical.
- Expert knowledge of .NET, C#, Linq, WPF, MVVM, Prism, multithreading, TPL
- Proficiency with design patterns, TDD
- Familiarity with Database, Tibco RV, KDB/Q, SQL
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Perl and Java
