Delta One Product Control Analytics
The Delta One business consists of a number of segments including; Core Desk (primary and secondary), Portfolio Products Desk, Investment Products Desk and Systematic Trading.
The role is a PL supervisory position with production done in an off shore location. This successful model allows London based controllers to focus on providing the desk and senior management with value added commentary and insight.
The individual will:
* Take on responsibility for reviewing daily Profit Loss control role for secondary trading activities. This includes client driven and proprietary business and encompasses European and Emerging Markets.
* Implement Single Balance Sheet across Delta One
* Lead EMEA Delta One PX adjustment reduction initiatives
* Produce market commentaries and report on performance of desk.
* Be daily liaison for the Developed Core and EM Desk
* Review month end PL and balance sheet production.
* Undertake quarterly FRP analysis
* Run project work (including systems re-engineering and market expansion)
We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalent) with excellent written and oral communication skills essential. The Delta One Product Controller must have a strong grasp of accounting with the ability to analyse and present large quantities and data. A background in product control would be preferred however experience in an accounting role within an investment bank or similar trading function is essential.
