Job Description
Working closely with sales, marketing and SOP teams and reporting directly to the divisional supply chain manager, you will be responsible for generating a rolling 15 month forecast in a highly seasonal and promotional environment. You will also be responsible for:
*Managing inventory to ensuring optimum levels are held and slow moving/obsolete stock is minimised.
*Working with sales and marketing teams to ensure an increase in, and maintenance of, forecast accuracy throughout seasonal trends, promotional activity and new product introduction.
*The development of supply chain/forecasting initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and drive customer service levels.
*High level involvement in the SOP process from a demand perspective, and the commercial viability of new product introductions.
This is a key supply chain role that will ensure customer service levels are met and exceeded, and a complex distribution network optimised with a robust demand management process.
The Successful Applicant
An FMCG demand planning professional you will have a proven track record of improving forecast accuracy, managing a large number of SKU's and working in a highly seasonal and promotional environment. You will also posses:
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills
*The ability to influence key stakeholders
*ERP/MRP exposure (SAP-APO)
