Hays Healthcare now recruiting qualified experienced Dental Nurses for medium term assignment at the Ministry of Defence in Colchester (Essex).
Ministry of Defence protect the security, independence and interest of our country at home and abroad and has permanent and casual civilian personnel, including Royal Fleet Auxiliaries, Trading Funds, and locally engaged civilians. The UK Regular forces comprise of full time trained and untrained personnel in the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force.
An exciting position of a Dental Nurse has now become available to be part of this well recognised and prestigious government organisation.
The role involves, performing the full range of treatments to military patients to cover civilised position gap before permanent staff member can complete on-boarding process, as well as:
- Assisting the Dental Officer during routine and emergency treatment
- Preparation of the surgery for dental treatment
- Use of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols
- Administrative duties (making patient appointments, monitoring bookings on the IT system, answering the phones, document handling)
Essential
You must be fully registered with GDC.
Have previous experience in a similar role for more than 2 years.
Eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable
MoD Experience would be an advantage.
Working Hours
34.5 Full time per week
