Deployment Programme Manager
Main Duties
The key aspects of the role are focused on but not limited to:
- Defining and overseeing deployment processes – ensuring project management best practice processes and methodologies are implemented and adhered to
- Providing day to day management for all staff working on a client deployment, and providing feedback to line managers for appraisal and training purposes
- Resource Management: working in conjunction with the Development Manager to ensure adequate resources are deployed to projects to deliver on time, to scope and to budget.
- Bring project and programme management disciplines to bear across the wider organisation as is appropriate
- Support pre-sales and sales activities by providing analysis, documentation and estimates

- Technical competence.
- Teamwork and an ability to work constructively with others.
- Problem solving and an ethos of quickly finding elegant and robust solutions to problems.
- Organised and a self-starter, requiring minimal supervision of day-to-day tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including electronic communication.
Experience
- Significant experience in managing multiple projects in large complex programmes of work.
- Experience of a wide variety of change management methodologies.
- Technology delivery and client account management skills.
- Commercial Focus – Identifies the best course of action for the company in terms of delivery, client satisfaction, technical and business elegance and simplicity, and shareholder value.
- Process Improvement – Knows what good looks like, can prioritise the route for achievement while having the patience and drive to see it through
Desireable
- Will have worked on-site with clients as a consultant or in a large corporate as an internal consultant
- Experience from verticals where enterprise software is found, e.g. finance, oil gas, telecommunications, etc.
