Performs one or more of the following:

 

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

Major Position Responsibilities:
1.       Manages and oversees all activities associated with Mi Via Operations
2.       Determines work priorities of Mi Via Operations team; has accountability for functions performed by staff. 
3.       Selects, develops and assigns staff as needed to meet strategic and operations objectives. 
4.       Provides active leadership and coaching for the Mi Via Operations Manager, Participant Liaisons and Project Specialist.
5.       Provides strategic direction for Mi Via Operations team.
6.       Manages and maintains excellent customer relations.
7.       Acts as communications point person for ACS with State of New Mexico for Mi Via
8.       Evaluates overall department goals to ensure that stated quality objectives are consistently achieved.
9.       Adheres to and monitors compliance with ACS’ Code of Conduct.
10.    Completes and administers performance reviews for direct reports.
11.    Works with the Executive Account Manager to ensure Mi Via Operations consistently aligns with the account’s overall goals and objectives
12.    Works cooperatively with all other areas of the account management team.
13.    Develops creative solutions to address complex issues for the account and customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:
(MINIMUM)
1.       BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
2.       Five years of management experience in healthcare administration
3.      Experience managing professional level team members.
4.      Proven experience building and maintaining client relationships.
5.       Ability to manage a large scale project with effective project management methodology and tools
6.       Possess excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
7.       Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-profile position and be able to successfully deal with stress.
8.       Possess above average PC and multiple software skills.
9.       Possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
 
 
PREFERRED:
1.       PMP Certification
2.       MA/MS/MBA degree. 
3.     Experience with Title XIX or XXI healthcare programs, including Medicaid, Medicare, or Child Health Insurance (CHIP) programs.
